  • Mario&Sonic at the olympic games-Good variety into wii games

Well, lets say its quit funny to see mario and sonic characters in one game. Game itself is for my child little difficult to play, because buttons, movements and commands does not respond like it should and in some events you must press combinations and move simultaniously which makes it difficult to play. Some sport events are easy and some are quit impossible to do it right like trampoline event. My child preferes to play wii sports and sport resort game, but sometimes if she will get bored from them she tries also to play this game vs me or computer. So its good for a change and gives some variety into playing. Compearing it for example with WII sports resort, then its quit difficult because quality and motion feedback from wii sports resort is super compared with difficulty and not ...

  • Entertaining Game, ideal for the younger Wii gamers

I bought this for my 6 year old son after he played it at a friends house and said he'd like to have it for himself. The game has a lot of variations to it with a lot of different events built into it and a good choice of characters to play as or against. Graphically it is OK, perfectly playable but not really up to to the graphics quality you get on other Wii games. I got it at a very good price on eBay and I'm happy with the purchase, the condition of the disk and case was "as new", and it is working perfectly. The game is good for he kids but not really gripping enough to keep older players engrossed in it for too long.

  • A little bit frustrating in the beginning, gets better with time.

Well, first of all I want to tell you I’m not a huge Wii fan, I bought the console some months ago so that me (age 31) and my kid (age 7) could have fun with it. The Sport Resort pack—a nice pack indeed—got kind of boring for us, so I purchased Mario & Sonic at the Olympics, Beijing (2008). I’ve watched a lot of video reviews about it on youtube before the purchase and most of the players didn’t seem so satisfied with it. They complained about the hard navigation and the difficult to complete exercises. Difficulty is not exactly suitable for kids, most of the disciplines (like the Aquatics) are frustrating for them and all of it was difficult for me too, but with more practice it became fun, actually. It is much easier to play the Resort bundle games and I think it is because of the Motion ...

  • Brilliant old game.

We have an old Wii and it was great to come across a game that we could still use. Our Wii is still going strong and this game works magic on it.
